Maharashtra State Candidates:
must have passed 12th or should appear for 12th in 2024.They must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. any Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational/ Information Technology/ Information Technology/ IT Internship/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies in 12th standard.A minimum of 45% marks are required in class 12th. Candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) must secure at least 40% marks in 12th.
Non-Maharashtra Candidates:
Candidates from outside Maharashtra can apply for MHT CET. However, they can choose to appear in MHT CET or use their JEE Main score for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses. MHT CET reservation rules are not applicable for non-Maharashtra candidates.
OCI/PIO/NRI candidates:
OCI/PIO and NRI candidates need not appear for MHT CET. They can apply for admission based on class 12 or equivalent exam results. After the admission of MHT CET, separate counseling sessions will be organized for OCI/PIO/NRI candidates.
