Govt. or the National Trade Certificate of one year Broad Based Basic Training (MMMT) along with an Advanced Modular Course of the First 6 months of the second year and a Specialized Module of 6 months in the second year in the sector of Electrical Trade through COE, an institution recognized by the H.P. Govt., will be given preference in selection.

Age Limit:
The minimum required age limit is 18 years of age. The limit of age needed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes and Children/Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh is relaxed by five years. The maximum age relaxation is also available to ex-servicemen candidates of H.P. as per the provision of relevant rules and instructions of the H.P. government.
