TN TET Hall Ticket 2022: The TN teacher recruitment board, Tamilnadu is conducting the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for primary and upper primary teachers. The TN TET hall ticket will soon be released on the official site of www.trb.tn.nic.in. The primary (1 to 5 class) and upper primary (6 to 8 class) exams will be held as paper 1 and paper 2. TN TET 2022: Exam Highlights
The TN TET 2022 exam paper 2 will be held from 31st January t 12th February 2023. The admit card for the same is released on the official website of TN TRB. The exams are conducted in computer-based mode with a maximum mark of 150 for each paper. Candidates have to obtain a minimum of 60% marks in order to pass the exam. The qualified students then will be provided with a TET certificate which will be valid for a lifetime. The other important details and dates are summarised in the table below:

TN TET Hall Ticket 2022
The admit card for TN TET exam 1 will be released shortly as the tentative date of paper 1 is in the month of August 2022. The candidates are required to have their login credentials before downloading the admit card. The admit card contains details like the examination date, exam centre, registration/ roll number, and password. Candidates have to bring the admit card on the day of their examination along with a valid ID card. The procedure to download the admit card is discussed below.
How to Download TN TET Hall Ticket?
- Go to the official website of TN TRB i.e. www.trb.tn.nic.in.
- Check out the link for “TN TET 2022 Hall Ticket download”.
- You will be redirected to a new login window.
- Enter the login details like your registration/ roll number and DOB.
- The admit card will show up.
- Check your details like the date and centre of the examination.
- Print and save the TN TET Hall Ticket and bring a copy along on the day of the examination.
TN Hall Ticket Guidelines
- The candidates are advised to take the admit card photocopy along with them on the day of the examination.
- Candidates have to carry a valid ID proof issued by the Govt of India in original as well as a photocopy.
- Wear a proper mask and take your blue/ black pen with you.
- Check your exam centre location before the exam and be at least 30 minutes prior to the entry time of the examination.
- Maintain social distancing and follow all the COVID protocols.
TN TET 2022 Exam Pattern
The exam patterns for both paper 1 and paper 2 are different. Paper 1 consisted of 5 sections in the exam whereas paper 2 consists of only 4 sections in the exam. Some important highlight points of exams are discussed below:

- Language 1 focuses on the candidate’s expertise in the language which is related to the medium of teaching.
- Language 2 is for testing the English communication skills of the candidate.
- The difficulty level of the exam will be of high school level.

- Language 1 tests the candidate’s expertise related to the medium of teaching.
- Language 2 is for testing the English communication skills of the candidate.
- Maths/ Science/ Social Science will test the basic concepts of the subject and problem-solving abilities.
- Child development and pedagogy focus on the candidate’s ability to understand the child’s psychology.
- The difficulty level of the exam will be the intermediate level.
TN TET 2022 Exam Result
After the written examination the marks-wise roll number list will be published/ released on the official website of TN TRB. The candidates are advised to check the official website for the same as no written communication will be sent to the candidate. Candidates have to obtain a minimum of 60% marks in order to qualify. 5% relaxation in marks will be given to SC, ST, PwBD, BC, and MBC/DNC. Qualified students will be issued a passing certificate named as TET certificate which will be valid for a lifetime.
