Eligibility Criteria for MAH CET 2023
When the notification of the entrance examination will be released, the eligibility criteria will be provided in detail. From the previous notification, we have provided you with the basic eligibility a candidate needs for the CET application form. The educational qualifications for various programs or courses will be released in the notification. The basic eligibility criteria for the CET exam are:
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The qualifying mark for general category class 12th Science students is 50% whereas for reserved categories is 40%.
- For the MHT CET exam, there is no restriction on the age limit.
How to apply for the MHT CET 2023?
The date of the online application of Maharashtra Health and Technical (MHT) CET will be released soon. The steps given below will help the applicants to apply for the various courses. The candidate has to browse the official website and then apply for the application form. The following steps are:
Step 1: In the first step, the candidate has to fill out the application form after which the Registration id and password will be generated which will be used in the second step of the procedure.
Step 2: Here, candidates must use the given registration id and password to open the online application form. The preference of the course will also be selected in the application form.
Step 3: All the documents will be uploaded in the third step. All the certificates ( 15 to 256 kb) of the student need to be uploaded with their scanned passport-size photograph(15kb to 50kb) and signature( 15kb to 50kb).
Step 4: The last step of the MHT CET application form is depositing the prescribed fee.
Step 5: Download or save the Maharashtra CET entrance exam application form for future reference.
MHT CET Application Fee Details
The application form fee for the Maharashtra CET exam is Rs 800 for the general category and 600 for reserved categories and PwBD candidates. The detail of the MHT CET exam application form fees is explained below. The candidates applying for the reserved seats need to upload their caste certificate in the application form. Only online payment will be accepted for the application form and the fees are non-refundable.

MHT CET 2023 Exam Scheme
After the application form submission, the candidates should start studying for the various courses exam. The tentative date sheet for the exam has been released by the authorities. The exam pattern for the exam will be the same but the exam for various courses will be conducted on the prescribed dates. The CET written exam pattern for Group A and B are shown below.
Group A consists of subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
Group B consists of subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).


The MHT CET written exam is divided into two stages consisting of MCQ questions. The CET written examination has no negative marking provision. The 20% weightage will be given to the class 11th syllabus and 805 weightage to the class 12th syllabus. Each question carries 1 mark whereas the mathematics one question carries 2 marks. The result of the Maharashtra CET written exam will be in percentile form.

How many questions are asked in the written examination of the MHT CET exam?
For Group A (PCM), there are 150 questions.
For Group B ( PCB), there are 200 questions.
Can other state candidates apply for the MHT CET application form?
Yes, the other state’s students are eligible for the MHT entrance examination. They can apply under the All India Quota seats.
