AFCAT 2 Admit Card 2022
The Indian Air force has released the admit card for AFCAT 2 on the official AFCAT website. Now applied candidates will be able to download the call letter from 10th august onwards till 28th august. The exams are scheduled to be held on the 26th, 27th and 28th of August 2022. The candidate must have the registration number and password to access the admit card. How to Download AFCAT 2 2022 Admit card?
Keep the login credentials ready before downloading the admit card and follow the below-mentioned procedure:
- Go to the official website of AFCAT which is www.afcat.cdac.in.
- You can click through the floating notification on the home page or go to the “Candidate Login” in the top menu.
- Enter your registration number, and password and show a captcha.
- Click on the login button.
- The admit card will show up.
- Download the admit card and take a printout.
- Save a copy for future reference.
AFCAT 2 Admit Card 2022: Documents to carry
The documents to be carried will be specified on the guidelines of your admit card. Read them carefully. The admit card along with the following documents is required to carry on the day of examination.
- A printed copy of the admit card.
- A valid ID proof- Bring any one of the Passport/ Voter card/ AAdhar card/ PEN card/ Driving license in original as well as a photocopy.
- Two passport-size photographs- The photograph should be the same as the uploaded one.
AFCAT 2 Admit Card Guidelines
- Verify all the details on the admit card if any mismatch/ error is present then report to the concerned authority.
- Carry the photocopy of the admit card to the exam centre.
- Bring one of the valid ID proofs (mentioned one) issued by the Govt of India.
- Carry a blue/ black ball pen.
- Wear a mask properly and carry a hand sanitiser with you.
- Maintain social distancing and follow COVID protocols.
- Candidates are not allowed to bring any electronic items along with them to the exam hall.
- Reach the exam centre 30 minutes before the allotted time.

AFCAT 2022 Selection Process
AFCAT is conducted by IAF to select the Class 1 officers for flying as well as ground branches. AFCAT is conducted twice a year. The selection process for AFCAT goes through four different stages. The candidates have to qualify all the stages of the selection process to be recruited. The four phases are-

AFSB Interview
After successfully qualifying in the written test the candidates are called for the AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) interview where the basic intelligence and potential of the candidate are examined. The interview commenced in two stages.
- Stage 1 testing– In stage 1 testing two types of tests are taken. The first one is the Intelligence rating test and the other is the picture perception and group discussion test. The candidates qualified in stage 1 carry forward to stage 2 and the candidates disqualified are called to leave.
- Stage 2 testing- The second stage normally takes 4-5 days. The candidates undergo psychology tests, group discussions, indoor-outdoor activities and at last personal interview. The candidates applying as flying officers have to undergo the CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) tests on that last day.
Medical Examination
After qualifying for the interview round the candidates have to go through a detailed medical examination. The medical exam is conducted to verify the good mental and physical health of the candidate. The candidate should not have any critical mental or physical diseases. The examination takes place either at the Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru or at Air Force Central Medical Establishment, New Delhi.
Merit List
At last, a merit list is prepared based on the written test, interview, medical verification and the number of vacancies. The merit list is prepared on an all-India basis and selected candidates are given the joining letters.
